What we do

We partner with trail organizations, advocacy groups, parks departments, and outdoor brands to design the maps, signs, and spaces that connect people to the outdoors.

Every project starts with a real problem: a trail system that confuses riders, a community that needs to see itself on a map, a park that deserves signage as good as the trails. We bring 20+ years of environmental design experience and a deep understanding of cycling culture to solve it — and we deliver every format you need, from trailhead installation to the web.

Trail & park system maps

A great trail map does something most mapping tools can't: it translates a complex physical environment into something that builds confidence and keeps riders safe. Every trail system has its own logic — features, progression, rules, local knowledge — and a map that ignores that complexity fails its riders.

We design trail maps that work at the trailhead, on the web, and in print. Your trail system's character comes through in the design — and every skill level finds what they need.

Community & city cycling maps

A community cycling map has to do a lot of work at once. The local who bikes to work needs different information than the tourist planning a day ride, and neither of them wants the same thing as the road cyclist coming in from out of town. Most maps solve for one audience and hope the others figure it out.

We design multi-format map systems built around your whole community — one visual language, every format. A pocket-sized folded map for the handlebar bag. A large-format poster for the coffee shop wall. A digital version for the website. Signage-ready artwork for kiosks and trailheads. One project, every surface.

Wayfinding & trail signage systems

Good wayfinding disappears. Riders follow it without thinking — directional signs that anticipate the next decision point, trailhead markers that orient without overwhelming, kiosk layouts that work in sun and rain. Bad wayfinding makes people feel lost in a place they were supposed to enjoy.

We design complete signage systems for parks, trail networks, and urban cycling infrastructure — from the visual language and sign family through to installation-spec files your fabricator can build from directly.

✓ Full sign family design (directional, identification, interpretive)

✓ Installation-spec production files

✓ Vendor and fabricator-ready files

✓ Material and finish specification guidance

✓ ADA compliance review

✓ Kiosk and trailhead layout design

✓ All layered source files for future updates

For city parks departments, trail associations, and bike park operators

Large-scale murals & environmental design

The best cycling spaces feel like they were built by people who actually ride. The routes on the wall are real routes. The terrain in the mural matches the terrain outside. That specificity is what separates a space people remember from one they forget.

We design and install large-scale murals, route and trail map integrations, and full environmental design systems for cycling retailers, bike parks, and outdoor brands. From a single statement wall to a complete shop interior, we work with your brand, your space, and your riders to create something that earns a second look.

✓ Concept development and space planning

✓ Route and trail map integration

✓ Large-format print production files

✓ Installation design and coordination

✓ Brand system alignment

✓ Event activation design

We scope and propose

We put together a clear project scope, timeline, and investment — no surprises. You'll know exactly what you're getting and when.

03 —
Design, review, deliver

We work through revisions together until the design is right. You receive all final files — including layered source files — so you're never dependent on us for future updates.
